Overview of the GED Language Arts Writing Module

Multiple Choice

In the multiple-choice section, you will learn about the editing skills that students will need for Part I of the Language Arts Writing Test. You also will have a chance to test your own skills through identifying and correcting errors in the four content areas of the multiple-choice section of the test.

Essay

In the essay section, you will learn more about the four-point scoring guide used by the GED Testing Service. You will also learn some strategies and techniques that you can use in the classroom to help students improve their writing skills.

As with all web-based professional development training, you may complete this module at your own pace and at any time that you choose. Now it is time for you to learn some of the basic facts about the GED Language Arts Writing Test.
