Mantrip
This train-like vehicle, which brings the miners down to and up from the coal mine, is called a mantrip. It runs on two rails laid on the floor of the coal mine and is pulled by a cable, which lets the miners down the mine and pulls them back up. Miners ride backward while going down into the mine and forward when they return back up. It takes about ten minutes for the miners to ride back to the surface from the bottom of the mine.
