Arts Toolkit Partners and Funders
The success of the Arts Toolkit is directly attributable to the partners who have collaborated on this project—everyone from individual teachers who developed lesson plans to arts organizations who contributed resources. The primary (and founding) partners are:
- KET, Kentucky's public television network
- Kentucky Department of Education
- Kentucky Arts Council
- Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts
The Speed Art Museum and Stage One were partners in the prototype stage and have been joined by arts organizations from around the state on the development of the subsequent toolkits. The Collaborative for Teaching and Learning has assisted in the development with an independent evaluation and ongoing advice.
The Arts Toolkit project has been funded in part by awards from the W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Arts Endowment for KET, the National Endowment for the Arts, the W. Paul and Lucille Caudill Little Foundation, the Charles M. and Mary D. Grant Foundation, and the Federal Title VI Innovative Educational Strategies Program.
