They also talk about famous Western Kentucky guitarist Merle Travis and how musical influences are passed from generation to generation. This KET series focuses on old and new Kentucky traditions in the areas of work, play, everyday life, and customs and beliefs. The series includes eight half-hour programs encompassing 35 segments on topics ranging from showing thoroughbreds to playing guitar.
