Commemorative Roster, c.1863

This roster lists soldiers' names, ranks, and other remarks. The print belonged to William Horsfall, the youngest person to receive the Medal of Honor. Prints like this were made to inspire pride, mourning, and nostalgia. This one lists all of the battlefield accomplishments of Horsfall's company. The print also lists those who had been wounded or killed in battle.
