In the Toolkit
The “permanent collection” of the Kentucky Virtual Art Museum is a CD-ROM with images of 250 artworks from 20 museums across the state—everything from folk art to works of the masters—along with artists’ biographies and related classroom activities. This unprecedented collaboration offers a unique collection for Kentucky classrooms.
Kentucky teachers may order copies of the CD for student and technology lab use. Or purchase the Visual Arts Toolkit, and you’ll get the CD-ROM along with nearly eight hours of video; a binder full of lesson plans, idea cards, and other resources; and a “Purposes of Art” poster. See the order form for details.
