Host Byron Crawford narrates a profile of Harland Sanders, originator of Kentucky Fried Chicken. Sanders had failed at several other occupations before hitting on his secret recipe of 11 herbs and spices while running a lunchroom in Corbin. He pioneered the idea of franchising a business and forever set the image of the “Kentucky Colonel” with his trademark white suit and string tie.
