“Colonel” Eben Henson (d. 2004) gives a behind-the-scenes tour of Pioneer Playhouse, the theater he founded in Danville. Each June through August, Pioneer hosts a colony of New York-based actors who live in a communal village while performing in summer-stock productions at the theater.
