Life in the Bend

A visit to the Kentucky (or New Madrid) Bend, an area in the westernmost tip of Fulton County that is cut off from the rest of Kentucky by a 180-degree bend in the Mississippi River. Bounded by the river on three sides and the Tennessee state line on the other, the Bend includes some of the most fertile farmland in Kentucky.
