Elmwood Inn

A late-1990s visit to the Elmwood Inn in Perryville, where owners Shelley and Bruce Richardson operated a tearoom for several years. The historic mansion, built as a private home in the early 19th century, was a field hospital during the Civil War and later a girls’ school.
