A visit to the 1997 edition of the Great Outhouse Blowout at Penn’s Store in Gravel Switch. Teams of runners from around the country gather each summer to race wheel-mounted outhouses at a festival started to commemorate the addition of a working outhouse to one of Kentucky’s oldest country stores.
