Dawson Springs History

A visit to Dawson Springs in Western Kentucky explores its heyday as a resort where people came to drink from mineral springs and as the one-time spring-training home of baseball’s Pittsburgh Pirates. Riverside Park, an old-fashioned wooden ballpark constructed in the 1990s, pays tribute to that sporting past.
