Jouett House Christmas

(#924) from Kentucky Life Program 924 (2003)

A Christmas celebration at the Jouett House in Versailles offers frontier-era festivities and a history lesson. The home once belonged to John “Jack” Jouett, a Virginia militiaman who made a Paul-Revere-style midnight ride to warn then-Gov. Thomas Jefferson of an imminent British attack. Segment narrated by series host Dave Shuffett.
