Canoeing Tygarts Creek

Nature writer and photographer Soc Clay takes host Dave Shuffett on a canoe trip along one of his favorite streams: Tygarts Creek. Originating in Carter County in the northern part of the Daniel Boone National Forest, Tygarts flows northeast for 90 miles to meet the Ohio River. The spectacular scenery along the route includes a steep-walled gorge at Carter Caves.
