Cordell Hull

A profile of Cordell Hull, who grew up in the Cumberland Mountains of northern Tennessee and went on to serve as secretary of state under President Franklin Roosevelt during the Depression and World War II years. Hull was instrumental in creating the United Nations and won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1945.
