Shape Note Singing

A gathering of the Ohio Valley Shape Note Singers at Harrods Creek Baptist Church in Brownsboro demonstrates the tradition of shape note or Sacred Harp hymn singing, developed in Colonial America, which uses a special streamlined notation to encourage participation by everyone in the congregation.
