New Life for the Henry Clay

Bill Weyland, managing director of City Properties Group, talks about the Henry Clay’s history as an Elks lodge and YMCA and the work done to restore the neglected building. Today the Henry Clay is a multi-use center that includes shops, apartments, and even a theater. Susan McNeese Lynch of the Bunbury Theater talks about the benefits of locating there. Kevin Gibson, a Henry Clay resident, talks about the appeal of the historic 1920s building. Segment narrated by Candyce Clifft.

Trouble with video in Firefox:

This is a known issue with the Window Media Video format.

Windows Media plugin is no longer maintained in Firefox, causing it to stop working.

Solution: Change the Firefox configuration file.
  1. Open a new tab or window.
    In the "Location/URL" bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
    (The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page will appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.)
  2. In the "about:config" page search bar, enter:
  3. Double click the preference name to change the "value" to true.
  4. Close and restart Firefox. The video should now work once you reopen the page.
    If not, then the WMV plugin may not be installed.
