John Walczak, the director of Louisville Zoo, talks about the zoo’s 40th anniversary. He gives an update on the construction of the Glacier Run polar-life exhibit and discusses how the zoo helps citizens understand the effects of climate change on wildlife. He also talks about the zoo’s educational programs for children and gives an update on the zoo’s baby giraffe. Interview conducted by Candyce Clifft.
