Spotlights the first games played in Louisville's YMCA gym in 1895, girls' basketball from 1900 to the 1930s, the 1928 Carr Creek-Ashland state championship game, Kavanaugh High in Lawrenceburg from the 1900s to the 1940s, the coming of coaches Ed Diddle to Western Kentucky University and Adolph Rupp to the University of Kentucky, and the Brewers' state championship in 1948.
