(#104) Reducing Obesity Through Activity

The Owensboro Public Schools' Healthy Lifestyles program and the Larue County Coordinated School Health Initiative fight the epidemic of obesity among children and teenagers, while Step Forward in Erlanger and a Rails to Trails project in Muhlenberg County aim to make their communities more pedestrian- and bike-friendly. A KET production hosted by Dr. Wayne Tuckson.

Trouble with video in Firefox:

This is a known issue with the Window Media Video format.

Windows Media plugin is no longer maintained in Firefox, causing it to stop working.

Solution: Change the Firefox configuration file.
  1. Open a new tab or window.
In the "Location/URL" bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
(The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page will appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.)
  2. In the "about:config" page search bar, enter:
    "plugins.load_appdir_plugins"
  3. Double click the preference name to change the "value" to true.
  4. Close and restart Firefox. The video should now work once you reopen the page.
If not, then the WMV plugin may not be installed.
