Access to Health Care
Addresses issues related to access to health care, particularly in rural parts of the state. Featured community projects: the Angels Community Clinic, a free medical and dental clinic serving the working, uninsured poor of Calloway County; Kentucky Homeplace in Hazard, which helps medically underserved residents find and make use of appropriate health services; the Lewis County Primary Care Center (LCPCC), which operates health centers in Vanceburg and throughout Lewis County; and the Clay and Leslie County clinics operated by the Frontier Nursing Service. A KET production hosted by Dr. Wayne Tuckson.
