A versatile creator of sculpture, paintings, photographs, assemblages, and prints that reflect on the personal and collective history of African Americans, Cole is best known for a series of works involving flatirons. He discusses his fascination with rescuing discarded household fixtures and creatively reincarnating them into unique pieces of art. A 2006 KET production.
