A Conversation with David Halberstam
Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author David Halberstam (1934-2007) discusses his book The Children, which recounts the remarkable stories of young people involved in the early days of the civil rights movement. He is interviewed by Roger Wilkins, professor of history and American culture at George Mason University. A 1998 KET production taped at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville.
