A Conversation with Gene Sperling
Gene Sperling, President Clinton's national economic adviser and head of the National Economic Council from 1997 to 2001, now works on a variety of economic and international issues as a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, as director of the Center for Universal Education at the Council on Foreign Relations, and as a columnist and television commentator. He is also a contributing writer and consultant for the TV series The West Wing. He discusses his book The Pro-Growth Progressive: An Economic Strategy for Shared Prosperity with National Public Radio's John Ydstie. A 2006 KET production taped at the Kentucky Center in Louisville.
