Best-selling author Sue Monk Kidd discusses her novel The Mermaid Chair with clinical psychiatry professor and fellow author Jean Shinoda Bolen, M.D. The book, about a middle-aged woman struggling with her own passions and "coming-of-age" questions, won the 2005 Quill award for general fiction. A 2006 KET production taped at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville.
