Tom Brokaw, former anchor and managing editor of NBC Nightly News, discusses his book Boom! Voices of the Sixties—Personal Reflections on the '60s and Today. It examines the tumultuous decade of the 1960s to explore how famous people, ordinary citizens, and the national mindset were all affected by that time of unforgettable change. A 2007 KET production taped at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Louisville.

Change Format to:

  2. RM

Trouble with video in Firefox:

This is a known issue with the Window Media Video format.

Windows Media plugin is no longer maintained in Firefox, causing it to stop working.

Solution: Change the Firefox configuration file.
  1. Open a new tab or window.
    In the "Location/URL" bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
    (The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page will appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.)
  2. In the "about:config" page search bar, enter:
    "plugins.load_appdir_plugins"
  3. Double click the preference name to change the "value" to true.
  4. Close and restart Firefox. The video should now work once you reopen the page.
    If not, then the WMV plugin may not be installed.
