Kentucky Life

(#312) Old Burnside

Host Byron Crawford talks to long-time residents about life in the old Pulaski County town of Burnside, a railroad and river shipping hub and regional commercial center during the first half of the 20th century. Most of the town was submerged under the waters of Lake Cumberland after Wolf Creek Dam was constructed on the Cumberland River in 1952. A 1997 KET production.
