The Battle of Mill Springs/John Muir's Walk
Newspaper editor and Civil War reenactor Stephen Bowling leads a tour of a southern Kentucky battlefield, re-creating an 1862 battle that helped turn the tide against the Confederates in the western theater. Dr. Richard Shore of Louisville retraces the Kentucky route of conservationist John Muir, who walked from Louisville to Florida in 1867. A 1999 KET production hosted by Byron Crawford.
