Breaks Interstate Park on the Kentucky-Virginia border, jointly administered by the two states, is a 4,600-acre enclave of rugged mountain scenery surrounding a five-mile-long, 1,000-foot-deep gorge carved by the Russell Fork of the Big Sandy River.
