Rugby

(#506) from Kentucky Life Program 506 (1999)

Host Byron Crawford takes a tour of Rugby, a well preserved 19th-century planned community located in the Big South Fork National Recreation Area on the Kentucky-Tennessee border. Rugby was founded by utopian visionary Thomas Hughes, who was inspired by the architectural principles of Andrew Jackson Downing and Frederick Law Olmsted.
