Dr. George Crothers discusses his anthropological research project documenting the human history of Mammoth Cave. Each year for more than a decade, volunteers organized by Earthwatch photographed and recorded traces left by human visitors to the cave over thousands of years, from prehistoric sandals to candy wrappers.
