An exploration of coal-mining and timber industry history in Stearns, a “company town” built in the early 20th century by the Justus Stearns coal and timber company. The historic McCreary County town is also a jumping-off point for the adjacent Big South Fork National Recreation Area. Segment includes a postscript by series host Dave Shuffett.
