At the Challenger Learning Center in Hazard, host Dave Shuffett watches 6th graders exploring math and science by serving as the engineers, technicians, and crew for simulated space missions. The Challenger centers were developed by NASA and a private foundation in honor of teacher Christa McAuliffe and the other astronauts killed in the Challenger space shuttle explosion.
