Cardome Centre

The Cardome Centre in Georgetown, on land first developed by a future governor of Kentucky in the early 19th century, has also been the home of an order of nuns and the girls’ school they ran for 73 years. Today it is a community center that hosts numerous events. This historical profile, narrated by series host Dave Shuffett, includes scenes from a kite festival and program credits.
