Knob Creek

(#1118) from Kentucky Life Program 1118 (2005)

A visit to Abraham Lincoln’s boyhood home at Knob Creek Farm in Larue County. After a fund-raising campaign spearheaded by a group of volunteers, the land was purchased from a private owner and donated to the National Park Service in 2001. It is now administered as part of the National Historic Site marking Lincoln’s birthplace, 10 miles away in Hodgenville.
