U.S. Marine Hospital

Volunteers who are working to preserve and restore the U.S. Marine Hospital in Louisville give a tour of the building and discuss its history. Built by the federal government in the 1840s to serve the health care needs of river transportation workers, it is the only one of the seven original marine hospitals still standing.
