World War II veteran Henry Anness and Cecil VanDiver Jr., the son of another member of Anness’s unit, tell host Dave Shuffett the story of the Harrodsburg Tankers. Deployed to the Philippines in November 1941, these 66 National Guardsmen endured fierce fighting, the Bataan Death March, and three years of captivity by the Japanese. Only 37 of the men made it back home.
