A profile of painter and sculptor Tom Pfannerstill, a Wisconsin native who lives and works in Louisville. Pfannerstill is best known for his ultra-realistic paintings of discarded packaging and other mass-produced items, which he picks up on the streets and then paints in detail to capture their individual “life stories.”
