The Fabulous Five

Players, coaches, and fans recall the exploits of the University of Kentucky’s “Fabulous Five” men’s basketball team. Led by Ralph Beard and Wallace “Wah Wah” Jones, the team won UK’s first two national men’s basketball titles in 1948 and ’49 as well as the gold medal at the 1948 Olympic Games. Segment includes a postscript by series host Dave Shuffett.
