A look at the work of EDGE Outreach of Louisville, which works to bring pure drinking water to poor communities around the world. Executive director Mark Hogg talks about the Pure Water, Pure Life project, as well as EDGE’s vision clinics and its Louisville humanitarian work. Claudia Daniels, coordinator of the water projects, talks about the water training school and hand-pump repair classes, and the difference pure water makes in saving children’s lives. Volunteer Bill Parker talks about his work setting up water treatment systems in poor villages.

Trouble with video in Firefox:

This is a known issue with the Window Media Video format.

Windows Media plugin is no longer maintained in Firefox, causing it to stop working.

Solution: Change the Firefox configuration file.
  1. Open a new tab or window.
    In the "Location/URL" bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
    (The about:config "This might void your warranty!" warning page will appear. Click I'll be careful, I promise!, to continue to the about:config page.)
  2. In the "about:config" page search bar, enter:
    "plugins.load_appdir_plugins"
  3. Double click the preference name to change the "value" to true.
  4. Close and restart Firefox. The video should now work once you reopen the page.
    If not, then the WMV plugin may not be installed.
