Sandy Bowen, executive director of National Safe Place, talks about the program, which was begun by the YMCA Shelter House in Louisville 25 years ago. She explains the process in place to help a child who seeks shelter at a place displaying the yellow and black Safe Place sign. She also talks about new ways the program reaches out to troubled teens. Interview conducted by Candyce Clifft.
