Pine Mountain State Resort Park

Pine Mountain State Resort Park in Bell County, established in 1924, was Kentucky’s first state park. It offers spectacular mountain scenery, including the famous Chained Rock; cabins and other buildings constructed by the New Deal-era Civilian Conservation Corps; and the annual Mountain Laurel Festival.
