Laurel Gorge

Host Dave Shuffett goes hiking and fishing amid some of Eastern Kentucky’s prettiest scenery in Elliott County’s Laurel Gorge, where the attractions include 300-foot sandstone cliffs that shelter several rare species. He also visits the newly opened Laurel Gorge Cultural Heritage Center to learn about the area’s past as well as plans for its future.
