Capitol Hill Days 2007

On February 11 and 12, executives from KET and WKYU-TV in Bowling Green visited members of Kentucky’s congressional delegation in Washington, DC to update them on services offered by public television in Kentucky and to encourage their support for continued federal funding of public broadcasting. The annual “Capitol Hill Days” event, organized by the Association of Public Television Stations, brings public broadcasting executives from around the country to the nation’s capital for conversations with lawmakers about how local public broadcasters serve their communities.
