10/17/03: One of the many tributes to former Gov. Edward T. “Ned” Breathitt, who died this week, came from Robert Bell, who had been his parks commissioner. “To the end, this noble man pursued public service with a passion. I’ll not mourn his passing; instead, I’ll celebrate a life well-lived,” said Bell. This week, we, too, celebrate Ned Breathitt. (#2951)
