Debbie Scoppechio, Creative Alliance

Debbie Scoppechio, chairwoman and CEO of Creative Alliance Inc., has made her way from tap dancing on The Ed Sullivan Show to a leadership role as one of Louisville’s top advertising executives.

After 15 years in the ad business, Scoppechio decided to channel her considerable energy, vision, and determination into creating her own shop. The rest is marketing history. Creative Alliance has grown from a three-person company to its present size of more than 100 employees and a healthy $100 million in annual billings.

People tend to use words like “driven,” “passionate,” and “accomplished” to describe Scoppechio—along with “integrity” and “service.” Her business achievements have earned her numerous honors, including the Top Kentucky Woman Business Owner of the Year award, election to the Kentucky Business Hall of Fame (as only the second female honoree), and an entrepreneurial excellence award from Working Woman magazine.
