Terry Blackwell, Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana

Terry Blackwell became the CEO of Girl Scouts of Kentuckiana in early 2008. She brings her passion for Scouting to Louisville from the Connecticut Valley Girl Scout Council, where she served as chief executive officer. Her extensive résumé includes more than 20 years of leadership experience in both nonprofit and for-profit organizations. She has worked with children in various capacities and has previously offered training in youth development and agency growth.

Terry holds a B.A. in mass communications from State University at Old Westbury in New York and a Master’s of Divinity in ethics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She also holds a certificate from the Center of Non-Profit Management in Nashville.
