Stewart Lussky, Festival of Faiths

Stewart Lussky is interim executive director of the Center for Interfaith Relations (CIR). She has served on the CIR board since 2002 and served as Festival of Faiths Chair in 2005 and Festival of Faiths co-chair in 2004.

2009 marked the 14th Annual Festival of Faiths, the theme of which was water. The event featured exhibits, lectures, music, film, art, and more exploring the connection between the role of water in many faiths and how those roles inspire people to act in the world.

One of the many presenters at the 2009 Festival of Faiths was past "Louisville Life" guest Tori Murden-McClure.

The Center for Interfaith Relations (CIR) works to promote interfaith understanding and cooperation. The annual Festival of Faiths, which brings big-name speakers to Louisville to discuss issues of faith, is just one way by which the organization seeks to accomplish its mission.

"Louisville Life" takes you inside the Festival of Faiths in our Season One Events segment. Watch it online now.
