Kathy Dobbins, Wellspring
Kathy Dobbins is executive director of Wellspring, the mission of which is to promote the recovery of persons with severe and persistent mental illness through leadership in the development of quality housing and rehabilitative services.
Located in Louisville, Ky., Wellspring has developed seven staffed residential programs and 88 community-based independent housing units since it began in 1982. Most of the housing is in Jefferson County; however, services have expanded to surrounding counties.
