Art Williams, Environmentalist

When it comes to local environmental issues, few Louisvillians have more depth and experience than Art Williams.

Mr. Williams is the former executive director(Retired) of Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District, and his resume includes a position with Kentucky Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, among others.

Mr. Williams was born in Bowling Green, Ky., grew up in Owensboro, moved to Louisville as teenager and finished high school in Memphis, Tenn. in 1970

University of Tenn-Knoxville.

He returned to Louisville in 1977, working a variety of high-profile environmental jobs since 1978.
